5 Ways To Launch A Great Week
Simple routines and lists are a sure way to increase productivity and feel accomplished at the end of a day or week.
Here are a few tips to help launch a fantastic week.
1. Start your Monday (each day) with a big glass of water.
I know, some of you are getting ready to unsubscribe to this email but trust me, water before your coffee. It’s the best thing for your body in the morning. There are so many health benefits to this simple task and on top of feeling good you will have the peace-of-mind knowing you are starting the day with your good health as a priority.
2. Be still.
Take at least a few minutes before your thoughts shoot off to all the tasks ahead in your day and think on the things you are most grateful for. Don’t lose sight of what is most important.
3. Be kind to someone you suspect is struggling or has a bad attitude.
More often than not we will spot someone who has not had a great start to their week. In this case take the time to smile and let them know that it is good to see them and you’re wishing them a great week. Maybe buy them a coffee or compliment them in some way. What a great way to start a week….serving others.
4. Acknowledge any emotions or feelings that may create stress or anger.
Maybe you had something happen over the weekend, possibly an argument or disagreement. Say you’re sorry and if needed seek forgiveness. Don’t carry hard feelings and strive into a new week.
5. Realize that you’re not in control of the universe.
Actually it’s best to realize that all we control is ourselves. When we go into the week clearly understanding that we are going to encounter situations that we can’t control. Things will happen that we disagree with and we think should be different, but if it’s not our business to be involved then most likely we should stay away from it.
